New Year’s Eve is the perfect reason to go bold with your makeup, not that you need an excuse. The festive glitter and gold is always a favorite during the holiday season, but this year we’re craving something more.
Ring in the New Year with a burst of color. To create this unforgettable eye statement, we busted out Eye Shadow in mermaid, a stunning teal blue that flatters every eye color.
Starts the eye makeup by applying a transition shade to the crease. Apply Eye Shadow in coy through the crease using the Crease Shader Brush.
On the outer half of the lid, apply Eye Shadow in vintage using the Full Camouflage Brush. Lightly pat this dusty pink into the crease, slightly overlapping with coy.
Next, mist the Detail Shader Brush with Hydration Mist. Using a wet brush will intensify the pigment of your shadow. Apply Eye Shadow in mermaid to the lashline, emphasizing the outer third of the lid, and tapering in toward the inner corner.
Apply Cream Stay Shadow Stick in beam to the brow bone, inner corner and lower lashline for a glowing highlight. Layer Eye Shadow in sand pebble on the inner half of the lid and into the crease using the Angled Definer Brush.
Finish off the eyes with a coating of Volumizing Mascara in black on the upper and lower lashes.
Add natural warmth to the complexion with Cream Blush in warmth, a lightweight, silky bronzer that softly sculpts and blends effortlessly. Apply just below where you would normally apply blush and blend thoroughly with the Texture Brush.
We like to pair a soft, neutral lip with a bold eye. For this New Year’s Eve makeup look we selected Lipstick in organza, found exclusively in the limited edition Alter Ego Collection.
Happy New Year!
