Primer should always be the first step to anyone’s makeup regimen, but when last minute blemishes are involved, make it a tinted primer. Tinted primer is a great idea for any bride that desires an even complexion.

The primer will not only extend the wearability of foundation and even out your complexion, but it also helps add a bit more coverage on areas that need it most. Always moisturize your skin and allow it to absorb before applying primer. Then you can start your mineral makeup application.

Cover

Choose to wear a foundation that provides buildable coverage for the big day. If any unexpected blemishes are visible, the foundation can be built up. Often times a full coverage foundation can adequately camouflage mild acne without help from mineral concealers and correctors. Play with the layers of makeup until you achieve complexion perfection.

Color Correct

A color correcting concealer along with an oil-free full coverage concealer that matches your complexion are the ideal combo to have close by. Red and green are complementary colors because they’re on opposite sides of the color wheel. Apply a mint green color corrector to your blemish before concealer to neutralize redness. Lightly apply a thin, even layer over the discolored areas only. On top of the corrector, apply concealer that’s the same shade as your skin. The best way to do this is to apply your foundation, color corrector and concealer first. Next, lightly dab a taupe or light brown brow pencil on the raised area to deposit color.
